What Is Doraemon X Remake?

Doraemon X Remake is a fan-made rebuild of the original Doraemon X game. While the original Doraemon X focused on open exploration of Nobita’s town, the remake (known publicly as version 1.4a by developer mayonnaisee) reworks the experience with a stronger story focus, refreshed graphics, and more polished gameplay systems.

Think of it as a director’s cut: same beloved blue robot cat, same world of gadgets and friends, but rebuilt with more care in the storytelling and presentation. It is still a fan project, not an official Doraemon release.

Doraemon X Remake vs Original Doraemon X

  • Story: The remake puts much more weight on the narrative, with deeper character moments and story branches. The original is more of a free-roam adventure.
  • Visuals: Reworked art and smoother animations compared to the original’s classic pixel style.
  • Gameplay: More guided missions and story events in the remake, versus open exploration in the original.
  • Size: The remake is a bigger download (around 483 MB) because of the extra story content and assets.
  • Requirement: Android 6.0 or higher.

If you love story-driven games, try the remake. If you prefer free exploration, the original Doraemon X (latest v4.3) is the better pick. Many fans play both.

Key Features of Doraemon X Remake
